Sorry it’s been awhile since the last post. Joanna and I are trying to be more conscious about taking pictures.

Jo shot these on Saturday night. I was holding Caden and telling him some stories that he thought were funny.

I thought this turned out decent considering all the kids.

We ran into one of our great friends Sarah at the mall on Saturday. This was the first time she has seen Caden

This past Saturday we took our first trip to the mall to take a Scott family picture for my parents for Christmas (I’ll post those pictures later). Caden is sound asleep in his stroller and that’s his grandpa in the back ground. He kept on sleeping and allowed us to stay out for 8 hours and get some much needed Christmas shopping done.

One of our favorite things is when Caden falls asleep… especially for an extended amount of time. We put him down and then run around like crazy trying to get stuff done. “Okay, who needs a shower? Have you eaten anything at all today? I’ve got 6 loads of laundry that need to go in. There’s a pile of dirty diapers left from yesterday that I never cleaned up.”

I officially started back to work this week. I’m glad to be back and gettin’ some stuff done, but I still look forward to coming home each night. Usually Caden and I just hang out for a while and give mom a little break.

By the way, we had a doctors appointment yesterday and they weighed him in at almost 11 lbs! 10 lbs. 14.6 oz. to be exact. The nurse said they are just happy when babies are back to their original birth weight in two weeks much less gain almost a pound and a half.

This shot is slightly out of focus, but we both love the expression on his face. He has such big eyes. And he talks to us all the time through them.
